I cant get over the versatility

I am going on another camping trip, and it still amazes me the amount of stuff I can put in this car....

with room to spare
Inside:
2 sets of golf clubs
fishing poles
tackle boxes
radio flyer wagon
4 folding camping chairs
2 pack n plays (for the 2 nephews)
10 tiki torches
2 gallons of tiki fluid
dart board/darts
small ice chest
spot light
beer
all the firewood you can see

On top in "turtle":
Clothes for a week
shoes/boots
shower/teethbrush/deodorant/etc
liquor

there might be more that I missed....The combination of gas mileage and cargo space can not be beat with the HHR..and the turbo is a bonus too

stuffed and still room for more, that s what I love about the HHR, now just to get rid of the annoying brake jiggle, new slotted rotors ceramic pads, new struts, ( KYB) ball joints, sway bar end links , new tires, four wheel allignment, neww tierod ends( all 4) new rear brakes and drums, ans still brake and shake, I do not get this?

if you still have it after that, i would suspect uneven braking. like one of the calipers is hanging up.

how new are the rotors? did they shake as soon as you put them in or did it develope after a little bit?

Very cool, HHR certainly holds more than it looks like it could.

Ha, me and the wife just said that earlier. I had a guy come and pick up a 75 gallon fish tank and stand in his Prius. Took him two trips. I picked up the same tank and stand in one trip. Even I couldn't believe it all fit.

It may not hold as much as a minivan, Tahoe, etc. but you sure can put more in than you would think.

And we use less gas than driving a minivan or tahoe

that all depends on driving habits we will always beat the tahoe, but the my mom can get 18 combined in her trailblazer, which I have accomplished before with some "spirited" driving...

but if we try, any HHR(ls,lt,ss) can do 30 or better for the most part

I think I even saw the kitchen sink in your picture above
as far as the mileage they are amazing.
I recentley was talking to someone about my ss who does not seem to impressed with it maybe jeallous who knows or cares for that matter ,
anyhow when I told him that I went from 35 mpg to 40 mpg when I tried ethanol free gas he could not believe it.
I did mention that is at 65mph and at 70 the mileage drops off not as bad as my 2.4 dropped off but I think its obvious the gearing of the ss is helping with the mileage.

Awesome cars definentley quirks to deal with as far as the gm tune goes but worth it.
looked again and yup I think ya got the kitchen sink in there
