Yep, I have to agree with the consensus, they will fix it. I've seen a lot worse fixed, and especially since your front end is in good shape.

Typically it doesn't matter how much you personally owe, it's all about how much the car is worth. In my state it has to be around 75% of the value of the car before it's totaled.

Hello Everyone.
Thank you so much for sharing your insite. It has eased my worries.

It has been a long time since I was involved in a accident. If they replace the Doors and the rear quarter panel. I will prolly keep it.

they will fix it i was told mine would get fixed if they didnt put the rear window in with the quote. i said no thanks. its hard to fix a unibody. good luck

if you have a chance to keep the rear axle i want it. let me know if they let you keep/ buy it and ill come pick it up and pay for it. i dont care if it is bent cause i will just cut it up.

Hope that they chose to fix it. Older HHRs have lost their value very quickly. You probably owe more than what they will value it at. They can find you a comparable used one but that wouldn't be my choice.
