So earlier tonight I went to get gas after enjoying a ride with my new exhaust, well i pull up and i notice some guy looking at my car. Hes like "man thats a nice ride you got is that one of those new PT Cruisers" . Jesus I hate that so much!! People will even say that when they are staring at the Chevy Bowtie. Sorry just venting a lil bit, lol

When I first brought my HHR home, I was getting that from EVERYONE!!!







But since I've added the new side stripes with the "HHR" lettering, it has never happened since...

 

I really like the stripe, I think it looks great, so good that when (if) I get my SS I want to put them on, maybe saying “HHR SS”. Where did you get them? Thanks.

 

I told a fella in all his Harley garb that him calling my HHR a PT Cruiser was the same as if I called his Harley-Davidson a Honda. He got the point quite well. (I like Honda motorcycle too though!)

You can easily design it how you like...

I just puchased a 3 inch center strip and 2 rolls of 1/4 inch pinstripe in "red" color then and layed it out myself down each side.

Then ordered the 2 inch white "HHR" block letters and applied them over the original middle stripe.

You can buy the pinstripe from any online vinyl company (I think I used www.edecals.com) or www.decalzone.com but if you just do a serch online, any vinyl company can allow you to order the width and length and color pinstripe or racing stripe of your choice.
