Exclamation Installed 2-way advanced remote start

Ok so I dropped my SS off last night to have the 2-way advanced remote start installed today... Got a call a few minutes ago saying it was done and can come get here... AT THE COST OF 318.91 could someone tell me if this is a round about average price or am I getting the shaft somehow... Someone please chime in soon before I go pick her up so I know if I need to jump down someones throat and find a new dealer...

Most GM dealers have an accessory link on their web site under the Parts Department tab. Check them out and see if that is their usual charge for the remote install. GM accessory guide suggest a 1.7 hour charge for the install.

This is straight off our accessory site.

2-way technology and a convenient display screen shows the vehicles current status (locked or remote-start engaged, for instance) and critical vehicle data, including tire air pressure, fuel level, odometer and theft alarm status. This fob offers greater operating range then the factory keyless entry system, and can control a second, ARSS-equipped vehicle.

Not for use on Panel LS and Panel LT models.

Remote start package only includes one remote key fob.

I guess you could install it your self (antenna and wiring) but the dealer would have to program. The antenna mounts to the quarter window and the wires go to the RCDLR by the inside rear view mirror.
