Question Integrated Alarm - will it work without a key fob?

I still have no key fob.
Some one tried to steal(?) my plates - just broked plate's frames and took it(I see no broken parts arround).
Plates just a little bent.
Does the Alarm works without the key fob?
Should I activate it manual?
Does a power outlet work all the time(I have dash camera)?
Should I go to the Police and tell them?
I suspect the prior owner, because I didn't return(at that time - I returned today) him his old plates because got problem with starter and got flu. He works in my city. He knew I have no key fob, knew my address; probably Alarm does not work and he hide key fob purposely. Over there should be some fingerprints - right?

The alarm only protects contents; unauthorized door opening.

If the plates are registered in his name he didn't steal anything. If they are your plates then you must have a police report to get new ones.

Kind of sounds like you don't understand U.S. laws.

Get a digital Owner Manual via the link in my sig.

It’s up to you, but please don’t accuse the PO, unless you have proof.
Time has passed So evidence has been compromised.

1. So get a fob.
2. No
3. You can't.
4. Check your's and see if it does. (or read the owners manual that tells you)

English as a second language. And most likely, a recent arrival to the USA. Concepts of property rights are very different in some other countries.

Some years the Content Theft alarm can be activated by the "lock all" button on the driver door as well as the fob. It is NOT a tamper alarm.
The power outlet is always on.

From reading the posts the OP has made. Syntax, understanding of rules, geographic location etc.

Could be just a Cajun language thing.

By paying attention.
