just curious....do you really need a sway bar? and tell us once its installed any noticeable differences. By the way, i like those chrome circles, they give the rear end a nice look.

Do I "need" a sway bar? Mmmm...not sure.

I will let you know if it makes a difference. It did on my 1977 Van back in the day.

Peace,

ahhh...ok. I only test drove an HHR, dont own one..yet! So the reason i'm asking is im curious if the LT model with the ''sport suspension'' tends to lean in corners a little too much? I live in a big city, but in the summer months i like to go visit some relatives who live about 350 miles away from me and you have to drive thru some high elevation mountainous passes . I can tell you from experiencing the drive there many times, thats a place you want good tires , brakes and a sporty suspension. There are some sections where if you lose control on the highway , you will be like WILD E. COYOTE and go bye bye.

I've had mine installed for about 3 months......."NEEDED" not really, but diffinately better "clover leaf" on ramp handling!! Also can feel it while highway driving w/ crosswinds.

The thing I'm really curious about is how much oversteer is actually induced by adding that particular "sway bar". FWD cars by design naturally understeer and most modern cars are balanced towards understeer as well. I'd also be curious to see an SS and check out where GM mounted the FE5 anti-roll bar.

Most have ordered a Progressive Anti-Sway Bar. Mine's in a box in the garage waiting for my son to install it.
