Kissed by a Dumptruck...

Well, my Panel has been in the body shop for a little over a week now. Last Thursday I was Rear-ended by a dumptruck because he was talking on his phone and not paying attention. Luckily the damage wasn't too bad, a little over $5000 in damages.

I was insanely mad, to the point that the cop made me get back in my car and wouldn't let me out until the the driver of the dumptruck had left.

My wife knows how much i love my car. She swears if anyone ever hit it she would be headed to the jail to bail me out.
I wish i could have found the guy who opened his door up and busted my mirror.

What was really upsetting, was the day after I got hit, my custom veteran plates came in the mail.

Edit: And my Goldlines will be here before I get my car back.

Its disconcerting when something like that happens. When my 2007 HHR was about six months old, an eighteen wheeler sideswiped it, pretty well wiped out the front end, left front fender, drivers door, left rocker panel, and some damage to the left rear door. No one was hurt, fortunately, and the HHR got fixed good as new. To this day you could never tell anything had ever happened to it. The main thing is no one got hurt, and your panel will be as good as or better than new.

Bummer, but you're NOT in jail for 'clocking' the TK driver, & un-hurt from his stupidity..

Hang in there man, Ur Panel will survive..
