Leather Repair. :(

Well, it finally happened. The first "blemish" on my HHR. I managed to keep it "like new" since September, but an ice scraper laid across the rear floor and a somewhat less-than-cautious spouse (the kind who yanks handles as hard as possible, rather than as gently as required by default) resulted in a 1/4" hole being poked in the rear bench (though not on the seating surfaces, but on the "underside" near the bottom of the bench where it meets the carpet.

Nevertheless, I'd like to fix this right up to keep it from potentially spreading from use and/or temperature, and because that's just how I am. :) Does anyone know of any specific leather repair products that would effectively color-match with the HHR's gray leather interior?

Thanks in advance for any avaialble insight.

You can get a patch kit from the parts store and patch it from behind the tear.

That's a great suggestion, but I'm not sure it's viable given the size of the gap. That's why I'd prefer something with a filler that is known to color match the GM/HHR Gray.

Thanks for your input!

Umm, ok.... but isn't that kind of one of the points to owning something, being that I can try to take care of it as I like?
