Leaving us?

Any truth to the rumor that the HHR is throwing in the towel in 2011? Read in a GM mag that the SS is gone and Chevy is waiting until after the PTLoser is discontinued this year.

Might be some carry over into 2012 but either way the HHR is at the end.

I have a good friend that lives in Huntington Woods, MI and works for a major supplier of small parts, gaskets and seals to several manufacturers. He tells me they have supplied parts to GM for what appears to be a replacement for the HHR to be sold by both Chevy and GMC. No details at all.

Yep, that's the problem with 'retro styling'. It has a short shelf life. The PT was long past it'sfreshness date.

Wonder what Ford has in store for the Mustang in a few years....
