I have the sunburst Orange and I ordered the 2006 orange color, it was OK for small scratches, but when I went with the spray can, it didn't match too good. I believe I used the chevy 56, it was a bit lighter than the chevy 802K. but that was over a year ago. the 56 can feels lighter so I think that was the one I used. I strongly suggest using the test spray cards they provide before spraying the whole fender (or door section on my car) The Orange is a hard color to match. If you are doing a complete front fender, you should be OK. I am guessing I have faded paint as it was peeling off on the pass rear door just below the window. Kinfd of like sunlight shining in through a garage window. I know it sat for a few years..
There is the problem.... someone took it upon themselves to remove the sticker from the glovebox. I was able to get an option listing from the serial number, and it says 56U sunburst orange II met
I have done this project already, so I cut the bad and rusty part of the fender, I put Bondo, and after the process sander and paint. wasn't perfect for my first time, next time will be better. Thanks so much This forums helps me a lot.
