Lowering Driver Seat?

Anyone ever have their driver seat lowered? Mine is powered and an SS seat and I'd give anything to get it 2-3 inches lower. Anyone done this? How much did it cost you? Where did you go?

Thanks!

Pressing down on the forward control doesn't lower it enough?

I really would like to drop the seat 2 inches, then my 2 hairs wouldn't brush the headliner. I have tried pressing down on the forward control and it is bottomed out now.

I've also been trying to determine a way to do this. I'm tall and hate having to lean over to see the stop light.....

Short of having the bar that runs side to side under the back of the seat cut, notched and welded I don't know what to do. And then I'm not sure about the front either.

It'll be interesting to see what others may have come up with.

if you play with the controls enough, you can get it lower, it just takes awhile to figure out all of the controls and using the back tilt lever too.

I am 6'2" and i have a sunroof, and my hair doesn't come close to the headliner at all. Plus until recently i had a lot of hair (for me at least, longer then normal) and it is often sticking a few inches up of my head, no problems. I have a combination of settings that gets it as low as it can go.

Then my wife gets in and messes it all up since she is 5'2", but that is another story...

Got it low as it goes, not enough. Hair doesn't touch, that isn't the problem, hunching forward to see is. Forget being 1st at a redlight, might as well be on Mars. Never used the visors, (they're crap anyway) the windshield is too low.
Just want to drop the seat...
