Yes, but it's a 2006, so if it's equipped with FE1, then the bushings he has are waaay loose.

Mine eyes have deceived me! I thought for sure I had seen 2006 in the OP, but no...

 

It’s indeed a 2008 2LT, 2.4, FE3. I had the stock swaybar replaced with an Eibach swaybar. I have just measured it. Diameter is exactly 25mm.

As suggested I intend to install the OEM bushings again instead of the Energy Suspenion ones. Still looking for the best place to order them because I don't want to pay twice for the shipping than the parts cost (shipping to Switzerland). Because that's the case for the Ebay offers I found. Unfortunately Rockauto doesn't seem to carry the OEM brackets and bushings.

I tried poly bushings too...hated them....went to a dealership and bought the stock ones...only 15 bucks....all good now.

 

I am still struggling to find the correct OEM parts for the bushings and the corresponding brackets.

- 20902784 seems to be the 25mm bushing (although part catalogues list this number also for early LS models, which I guess can't be correct).

- 22722387 seems to be the corresponding bracket according to part catalogues. It seems to be of a one-hole design as seen below. Can that be? Because if I remember correctly, the currently installed Energy Suspension brackets are of two-hole type.

25mm is not exactly 1 inch.

 

As stated in post #11 , 1 inch is 4 tenths of a mm larger, it doesn’t sound like much till the clunking starts after about a month!

 

So I finally got around to replace the Energy Suspension poly swaybar bushings. I replaced them with original 25mm GM bushings (20902784) and Dorman two-hole brackets (928319). The Dorman brackets came with 23mm bushings, so I couldn't use these bushings. But on the whole it was still the cheaper option for me as I could order everything via Rockauto. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but the moaning and groaning seems to have vanished now!

After a closer look at the Energy Suspension bushings and the GM bushings, I don't think it could have ever worked out with the former ones. In the beam below the bushings there is a small cavity, which the GM bushings fill and the Energy Suspension ones don't. So they kind of floated more or less in the air, which eventually must lead to one problem or the other.
