Well I sprayed contact cleaner on the plug ends, the wires seem tight. I checked the voltage between the (a) and (b) terminals with the power on I'm getting 4.97 volts. With the meter on VDC. Does this have any significance? Im stuck.

That tells you that the MAF section has power, nothing about the IAT.

See what you get with ign on C & D using D as ground. Then continuity C to ground and D to ground, with ign on. You can use the ECM housing or the strut bolts for ground not the engine.

Has the ECM been unplugged lately?

Might need to unplug it and inspect the contacts and backside of the plugs.

Yes the ECM was recently unplugged, with an engine swap.

That may be the problem. Those connectors are famous for the pins pushing out the back or getting bent.

Also check this bundle of wires for chafing a breaks.:

Here are the pertinent pins on the ECM. Pins #38 & #68 to check my counting.

Keep in mind for helping out with any further troubleshooting requests, that you document any relevant recent work that was done.

Knowing that this was the tail end of an engine swap would have helped a whole lot. Don, our resident wizard, is pretty good at this stuff though - and once again is narrowing down on the problem.

Ok got it.
C to D it’s reading 11.68v. C to ground is 11.68v. D to ground is reading 0.

Your battery is dead, anything under 12.2V is dead.

It is looking like a defective MAF or the signal wire on E.

Just occurred to me you are looking at the MAF not the MAP; on the air intake horn?

Yes I'm looking at the mass air flow sensor, connected to the intake hose.
