Meet The Gooser

Finally got a few pics of the Gooser...

This pic was taken in the parking lot of the Merrimack Bud Brewery..about 1/2 mile from my home

I gave The Gooser 5 fresh quarts of Valvoline All Climate 5W30 tonight. Changed out at 1173 miles...factory fill had been in since 09/06 plus I always do an oil change around 1K miles on my new vehicles. I'll do another change in 3k miles, send a sample out to Blackstone for a UOA and then push my OIC interval out to 5K miles. Might switch to synth then but I have a boatload of dino in my garage to use also...btw it is so freaking easy to change the oil in these cars it is not even funny. No mess, no nothing...I didn't think it could get any easier than with my Matrix...boy was I wrong!

This last one is taken from my office window. I can keep an eye on The Gooser all day long

Only mods so far is the 3A Exhaust tip....looking at the sway bar for next addition probably. Also vents for windows and more than likely a hood deflector

you can get a chrome stubby on ebay. We got ours there and a year later no rust and still great reception. Just do a search for a jetta.

This is the one we got and it looks great!

Nice pics.

Wish the parks around here were kept "a little" clean.

Goose Man! Awesome color choice, have not seen that color here in Austin yet. Would have been a fight between Deb and I for color choice. I'm glad it wasn't available, she doesn't fight fair ! You mentioned a hood deflector I've only seen the window deflectors where can I find one? Thanks in advance.

Hey jx3,
I'm going to be in your great state on saturday. A little far from you though. I'm picking up a chevy beretta in gainsville and driving it back to Ohio. Can't stay or I'd say we try to hook up for a cold one and car talk!
