What do you want to know as someone here should have the answer. We have more good tech people than you think.

The first digit actually represents the vehicle's country of origin, or final point of assembly and it's a bit more complicated than your post. 1, 4, or 5 is the United States, 2 is Canada, 3 is Mexico, 6 is Australia, no 7 or 8 for whatever reason, 9 is Brazil, J is Japan, K is Korea, L is Taiwan, S is England, V can be France or Yugoslavia (if the 2nd character is F may indicate that the vehicle was made in France unless it is a Ford. For example: The first 2 characters of a Peugeot or a Renault are both: VF), W is Germany, Y is Sweeden/Finland, and Z is Italy. I think I got that right.

Not the best picture, but look at the red circle. That is the lower Tmap sensor on the IC piping. The spliced wires will be in the pigtail that plugs in there. And the crinkle black bracket is just one I made up to hold the IC pipe away from the AC compressor. The compressor is what can make contact with the Tmap/wires under engine torque and rotation or lean within the engine mounts.

SSfan. Interesting to see our pictures next to one another. It shows the difference in clearance between the 2. Mine seems to have a lot more clearance than yours. Or maybe it is just the angle of the photos.
Either way, both of ours show a way to fix the compressor/Tmap rubbing problem.

I knew someone would answer the call.

The space can vary based on where the IC is bolted in or even how far the hose is pushed on. The IC location is not exact on all SS and can be more forward or back depending on where the brackets are locating it.
