MGP Caliper Covers

Anyone else see these caliper covers? I was going to try and paint my calipers but I may just wait until "late summer" when these come out.

I think it is funny how they claim they keep the heat down.
They are reading the heat out side the cover not under it.

If they sold these for $100 I could see them selling but at $200 your better off putting the money to s set of real brakes.

$200!! Uh, I don't think so. I bought the caliper paint kit from Tirerack (my third one) and painted mine. Love it! Looks great and VERY durable. Even in Wisconsin winters. $40 bucks for kit. Used one on my Saturn, my Beetle, and now my HHR. Good stuff. Oh, stay away from duplicolor kit. Less expensive but paint flakes off in chunks. I learned the hard way.

What is a "Patented Fastening System"? How do these things attach and what kind of damage would it inflict if one flies off??
