missing panel option

Where do you find the option to build a delivery? I wanted to build one on the GMcanada site, but the only option is an LS or LT. I see people finding/ buying the HHR panel already, so whats up, or will I have to wait for Chevy to update the website. Thanks.

You will have to go to your dealer and most of them won`t know what you are talking about I was the only one in a 200 miles that ordered one and when I did they had no info or prices on anything.Right now my insurance company can`t give me a price for insurance because it is not in the system and it`s been over 3 weeks. They called again to tell me they are still waiting but don`t worry you are fully insured.

Are they trying to classify it as a truck?
Heck, here in Chi-town, we have Boulevards, and trucks (even pick-ups) aren`t allowed.

Yeah you have to go see the dealer to have him order it special. When ordering my 2008 it was there in the options on his screen, I had to tell him what it was because he was like whats this. Good luck with your search. :)

The GM Canada site isn't the best...

Here is the step-by-step guide to build your very own HHR Panel!

****DON'T go to the HHR section***

after going to www.gmcanada.com do the following:
Shopping Tools
Build your own vehicle
***you should see drop down menus
Chevrolet
HHR Panel is a seperate listing. And there are no pictures.

enjoy

I had a very similar experience with mine, though I did find a "build it" page on the internet from a "fairly local" dealer. That is how I even knew that they existed. I contacted the dealer to find that they did have one in stock. It was white with running boards and roof racks, neither of which appealed to me. It also had the silliest of all options....rear airbags, on a car with no rear seats? They found me one that way I wanted it just over 100 miles away.
My bank and my insurance company balked at the VIN but the process went w/o any problems. I wonder why GM has had a problem with this? My banker said that she has never seen that before, that all VINs are recored when they ship from the factory.

BB.....the HHR is classified as a truck by GM (they needed the associated fuel mileage for the truck line average fuel use....boasting rights). Go figure...on the same platform as Cobalt.

Is it classified by GM as a truck or a SUV. most sites I have seen list it under the SUV section, but when I registered my HHR in my state, it is listed as a Sport Wagon.
