Moon Hubcaps & trim rings? Chrome bits?

Hey all,

Looking to do something sorta like this but without the wood:

Will moon hubcaps and trim rings work with the stock steel wheels or is there a specific after market wheel that must be used? Also, any suggestions on places to get stuff like the chrome bits other than California Cruisers? I read the thread on them, and seems like they need to be avoided.

you need a differnt rim. The rims are from wheels vintique, if you buy them direct, you'll have to have someone paint or powdercoat unless you go for all-chrome http://www.wheelvintiques.com/

See mitzkity's gallery for more pix. They make em in smoothies (like above) or in ralley style. but you need that for the moons and trim rings to work.

Thanks

Thanks. On their web page at they list a 5019 Chevy Cap for HHR:

at http://wheelvintiques.com/shopsite_s...ml/page84.html

It says "Fits: HHR Wheels"...does that mean they fit the stock black steelies? Are they full sized or center-cap style? Any clue? I cant find an e-mail address wnywhere on their page to try to email them.
