Thus they should make the front a little longer and shove the LS1 into a rear wheel drive platform.

The Solstice GXP and Sky Redline have a single exhaust with dual outlets.

Yep, you are absolutely correct...I forgot......my bad. Even thought this picture displays a Magnaflow system it still demonstrates the single pipe.

And, I'm not saying it's not true about the cooler. But I know it's not beyond GM to add "dummy" stuff to a vehicle to promote discussion and false reporting by photographers.

Well, kind of...probably...

The Opel is the third member of that platform and, as I understand it, built in the same location.

I think, if you look really well, you can make out the word Sky on the left.

Although, I picked the photo from a site on Solstice testing....if you run your cursor over the photo, it does say GXPexhaust.jpg

Yeah its an Opel. The Opel came first I do believe so it will always be an Opel. GM is trying to make Saturn an Americian edition of Opel and Vauxhal.

I guess I can mention....since it is related to the expected SS HHR drivetrain...

Magnaflow is pulling almost a 10 % gain with a change of exhaust system on the 260 HP engine. And, I believe, that is at the rear wheels.....nice gain.
