Definition of reliable, please....

I have an 08 Panel.

Mine never fails to get me where I want to go, has never been on a stretcher.

At 53,000 miles, it's had the normal maintenance items done and needs front struts badly. Still on the original battery.

Michigan potholes have wiped out a full set of stock rims over a few years.

Door locks take three or four presses of the remote to fully lock or unlock. Need to get in the door and lube something I bet.

Every so often ,the radio doesn't works after turning on the key when the car has been running with remote start. Not a big deal, turn it off, restart, and radio works.

I've only had minor (to me, anyway) issues. Pretty happy with it overall.

my 08 panel has almost 190,000 miles on it. i have really just done routine stuff. brakes, tires, bushings, oil change. I have to say that for a $ 25000.00 truck that came with virtually every option. It has been a great vehicle. This may be the first one to hit a million miles, that is how much i like it. even though the dealer is trying to talk me into a new steering column.

All three of our vehicles are orphans. It doesn't seem to hurt the other two as they still sell for more than I paid for them. We'll see in a few months when we replace the HHR.

Why are you guys calling this an orphan? It's no longer in production, but it's not a Saturn or a Pontiac, after all.

Thank you for taking the time to share you happiness with your HHR, panelmoxie! We greatly appreciate your gratitude of the HHR.

A million miles?, I hope I'm still apart of the forum when that happens as that would be awesome!

Don't know which one is most reliable. I have a 09 SS and a 08 2LT panel, check with me in a couple years, so far they have both been reliable.

Great picture ... It's more fun when you have TWO.

I was just using his term. Chevrolets are stiil made but not HHRs (or El Caminos). However, it's really quite a stretch to put Saturn on the same plane as Pontiac.......
