How many musicians do we have on here that use your HHR to hall your gear around? post what you play.

I use my HHR to hall around my drum kit. It works perfect for my huge 26" bass drum I have. Also the storage compartment under the rear floor is a perfect place to put my cymbal where nothing can happen to them. Plus I got my gear to match my HHR. I give the HHR tumbs up for the gigging musician.

 

There are few musicians here...In fact, I am in a 2 HHR band. Our lead singer hauls around the PA equipment their HHR...

I love the HHR for hauling gear. It is an easy loading vehicle that hauls a lot AND gets great gas mileage. Very practical.

Everyone here knows how much I love my HHR. I have a fully loaded 2LT that suits my every need. Who could ask for more?

The guy who works at the parts counter at the dealership where I got my HHR is a weekend musician, and he drives one. He told me that he used to drive a truck, but hated it because after shows he'd pack up his drums and have to leave right away, because he couldn't safely leave his stuff in the back of the truck unless he got a shell, which he didn't want to do. He loves the HHR because he can stow his gear and stick around for a while after.

 

Well, I'm not a musician, but a mobile deejay. I have two JBL Eon speakers, stands, lights, and at least three large containers that store my cd players, and mixer. The spare stuff goes under the tray. However, I wish there was more hiproom up front, but it works and it looks cool especially since I do at least 7 classic car shows over the summer.

HI there. I got my HHR specifically because I haul music gear for my band
I carry the PA system, speakers, stands cables and mics as welas my bass rig and basses. Things fit pretty good but i have only had the car for a week
and i am still figuring the best way to load things. The storage under the back deck is great for small things and the ride seems not to suffer with 3-400 pounds of gear in it. NO more plastic bags and tarps for me!

I will do that as soon as I get the dates booked for next year. I can tell you one for sure. It's on the Fourth of July from 12-4pm. It's called Gorilla Days and it's located at 75th and 355. It's put on by the Woodridge Police Dept and the Chicagoland Buick GS club, which I belong to. I'd love to have some HHR owners out. It's free and all cars are welcome.
