My HHR Build Date

I cannot believe how fast my HHR got scheduled to be built and delivered.
I did all the paper work this past Mon (4-9-07) The order was officially placed on Tues (4-10-07) And here it is two days later, and my salesman told me it is scheduled to be built on (Mon 4-23-07) (We're nervous about a Mon. build date)
Scheduled delivery date is (5-18-07) That's 6 weeks from ordering to delivery.
I was expecting it to take the full 9 weeks. But, earlier is better.

When you order a car you you jump inline before cars to be built for
dealer stock. I got mine in 5 weeks. Don't wory about a MONDAY build.
I think they work a 7 day week.
good luck with your HHR & have fun !

Build Date

My took 6 weeks almost to the day from order to delivery. Apparently Chevrolet distribution is on the ball. Enjoy your HHR.

Hey, my new "Premiere Edition" is a Monday build and I gotta tell you the fit and finish is top notch...maybe they put some extra care into the SE and custom orders, but the rental I had a couple of weekends back was put together nicely as well. I traded an SVT Focus on my PE HHR and even though that was a specialty model also out sourced to Mexico it had some build issues, not terrible but noticeable upon comparison.

Yes a 7 day work week, but in Mexico they take off part of the day for naps

Does it cost extra to have a car ordered or do you not get the rebates etc?

I thought I read in the small print on the rebates that they only apply to dealer stock

Never have ordered a car, just wondering

I GOT THE REBATE + ZERO % . I got the car for dealer invoice . I really think
the dealer would like you to order because they have no money in the unit.
A car from stock cost them because they have money in it.

One more thing. You only get the INSENTIVES that they are offering at
the time you buy/make the deal/take it home.

Well in other words could I order one right now and get the 1500 rebate plus there is 500 for a 99 and up trade in so basicallly same as the 2K rebate last month?

So I could order a silver or Sunburst Orange with just boards and fogs plus auto? In other words exactly what I want? Sorry to sound naive, never have looked into it before
