JUst wondering how many of yalls kids love the HHR. My kids fight and argue saying they are riding in the HHR, and not our WB edition venture van anymore. Its pretty funny when we start decidingwhich vehicle to do what in. By the way from my earlier posts, I am going to be able to keep my HHR, its gonna be tough, but I'll figure out something....

 

Funny you should bring up kids wanting to ride in the HHR. When I first got mine, I had to pick up my 10 year old grandson from school. When he found out I was doing that he said..."You're going to pick me up in the HHR, aren't you grandma?" (I have another car) and I said "Of course, why do you ask?" He said, "Your car ROCKS grandma and I want all my friends to see it."

Also, a week or 2 ago, I started babysitting for him and his brother and sister a couple days a week. Had to go out to the car to move it out of the driveway so my daughter could park there and she wanted to go along. Well...mom comes home and she doesn't want to get out of the HHR and started crying when mom tried to take her out. Had to drive her around the block to make her happy and then she got right out.

Now...I've already taught her to say NASCAR and when she sees my car, she points and says....Grandma...NASCAR.

Very good to hear that you're going to be able to keep the HHR. That's great news.

 

My son is 22 & USMC. When I first told him I was getting an HHR, he said he did not like 'em and thought they were ugly. Well, now that he's seen and driven Mom's in addition to all the cool stuff thats been done to it, he's changed his tune!

 

my daughter Aura (sounded like Laura w/o the L) is 19 and has a very very cool Cobalt
she likes hers alot better but she doesnt complain when she rides in mine as long as i turn down the bass (lol). the car is hers when she graduates college and she pays her own insurance and gas and maintenance on her car. she is going to school and working this summer.
