My old HHR

Is it just me or does my old HHR seem over priced. Its the a 2006 2lt and its gray and they are asking almost 11k. I put in a different radio because I wasn't going to let the dealership have my radio and tv.

Very sharp, but asking and getting ara two different things. What did you trade for?

That was pretty good $ from a dealer. What are you driving now?

my 2006 2LT DSM with cloth seats and 89k miles rolled in at $3900 trade-in value at a dealer last summer.

I walked.

107,5xx miles now, and still wish they would have offered me twice that.

remember, dealers are in the business of making money(or so they try).
There's an old saying in 'selling' and 'starting/asking price'

"you can always come down, but you cannot go up. Start high"

if they paid $7400 and are asking $11k, they'll let it go for $9000 if it comes down to it, as long as they can make some back end money and/or on whatever trade THAT buyer has.

i only paid $11,800 for a 2007 2lt. it had 27k miles. so maybe $10,000 would be a better deal. it is already out of factory bumper to bumper warranty.
