Now it's at step 1A.The order was accepted by GM,so now it's wait until the American Axle strike is settled or GM cancels the 08 build out.

That is a good sign, if they weren't building why would they except the order unless, they are building. I believe they quit excepting orders at the end of this month in order to make ready for change over in July. I've read that GM purchasing has found other sources for parts.

I think this is good news for you.

I HOPE it's good news.The line is still idle as far as I know.The dealership said that the order cutoff was the end of this month regardless of the strike.There's still the possibility of the build being cancelled.GM did that back in '72 at the Norwood,Ohio plant(and SCRAPPED the production vehicles that were stiil at the plant).That's why there are so few '72 Trans Ams and Z/28s compared to other years.
