I am 6ft, went from a mini-van to the HHR. Had a bit of a time with the windsheild and A pillars at first , but got use to them very quick.

You wouldn't believe what a short time it takes for you to not notice the windows anymore. I drove a rental this week and noticed how big the windshield was and how much sun and heat came in.

This was a big concern of mine when I test drove the HHR. But, it's not even an issue now. Buy one, you'll love it!

You get used to it. In my case the outward visibility was an improvement over my previous car.

Yup,

It's just a matter of becoming accustomed to the view. Once you are in it for awhile you forget about it.

Like peering out of a mailbox.

I like it. It keeps the retro feeling inside out as well. Would love to see a split windshield mod.........h,mmmmmm

I'm six feet tall, too. Just driving around, I don't notice the problem with the front glass, but at stop lights I sometimes have to stoop down a bit to see the light. Also, the fold down sun shades are useless to me, because if I put them down they pretty much block half of my viewing area.

Kinda ironic how a car that's called "High Roof" can be something of a pincher up there for the driver. It's all good, though...I like it.
