Today's the last day for suggestions.

 

Is this event only for the ChevyHHR.net or are the other Fourms also invited?

 

I would hope as long as you have a HHR you would be invited?

I would certainly hope that anyone with an HHR would be welcome to come to this event. I'm sure there are many HHR owners out there who just lurk here and the other forums and never join...they just take it all in. If this is to be a true HHR get together, anyone willing to pay any registration fee involved, spend money to travel and pay for activities should be welcome whether they have an HHR or not.

 

I was just asking Godzhhr cause if were just for the members here it would be one name, but not a National or Inter National Event. For the later all Fourms would be invited, yet I see nothing posted in other Fourms, but I could have just not seen his posts. And all Fourms would have a say as to When and the Name.

This is not a forum event, it's a national event.

I'm hoping we can draw HHR owners from all over North America. Once we have a name and a few more details I'll be announcing it on every car show listing I can find.

I'm no longer a member at The HHR Club, and CJ booted me out of his forum, so I can't announce them on either of them. BUT, there are a bunch of great folks at both places and I would hope that they would attend if possible.

I really hope that this event can be all about the car we all love, the HHR, and not about personalities. I want everyone to feel welcome at this event.

Since I'm not affiliated with the other HHR forums, they'd have to contact me for involvement, but I do plan on asking Jonel about this forum being one of the sponsors. I think it would very fitting for the most active HHR forum to be a part of the event. I think this can be done without excluding anyone.

I also want all to know, that I'd like help from anyone who is willing. Actually, I NEED help from all who are willing. We have a date & place and we'll have a name in another week. But we need so much more. So please get the word out about this, offer suggestions/help. Feel free to contact me anytime.

Bonnie and I are going down in October to check out the facilities and make a few local contacts. If someone would like to go too, let us know.

 

I addressed the the question about posting in other forums in my prior post.

But the idea of other forum having a say in when/where/name..........why?

I am the main person getting this going and I'm a member of this forum. If I had to get approval from everyone/everyplace that might be interested, this will never get off the ground.

And please, ask issues like this in another thread or in a PM. I'd like to keep this thread positive and about the name for the event.
