A National HHR Club
A National HHR Club
Does abyone belong to the HHR club that I have seen on the internet, looks to be an attempt at a national club. I heard a rumor that it was "owned" by the same group that has a large P.T. "Loser" club. Finally is anyone interested in a club like this, it would further support these runs that so many of us are talking about? I myself would be interested and would be able to be involved, but I have a problem with it becoming a "Club for Profit"...opinions???
I took a look at Brand x over there, but did not find it useful to me for the following reasons:
1.) I had to join their national to be a member of a local chapter...
2.) I could not forma alocal chapter under their them without my members joining theirs...
3.) It did look very much like the PT crews site...
On the bright side I found this site as a link from theirs and have not been back...
Sorry... (NOT!!!)

I've been on other forums (identical to this) for motorcycles (sportbikes) and cars (Probe) that have similar following's/interests. I, personally, have never participated in 'club functions', however, noted that these *free* clubs are basically the brain-child of one (or multiple) like-minded individuals residing in the same demographic.
At the bottom of the main page of these forums is a "Regional" area. Most people interested in your area might hang out/post local gatherings/activities there. I've even seen some regions create thier OWN (local) web-site external to this forum to track club activities, roadtrips, etc... but that's the where money comes in (web space, supoort, updates, etc...)
As for a national club... I've always noticed multiple regional clubs coming together as one for/at specific events.
As far as I can tell, the HHR has a strong following... and IMO that's good for us all!

I am just a "club" type , have belonged to the National Impala Club, National Street Van Association, Good Guys and other like organizations, so I thought that I would see how this group feels. I have grown attached to this group rather quickly and would feel more comfortable especially with the "losers" being closely involved with the other club...

Support your Local www.chevyhhr.net
The best thing we can do to help Jonyyb with new members is put links on your email to direct new people to this site. Give them your member links so you get the credit for them coming and joining. Wear your www.chevyhhr.net sticker proudly, make up some cards or flyers and when you see another HHR parked Place one where they can see it when they return to their HHR. When they come here they can post on the regional area and make the smaller local group. The local group can be part of the regional and mostly be in with everyone else. We can all be one happy family. I am another that came here and am totally in with the group here rather than the for profit group "X" losers. I say Support WWW.CHEVYHHR.NET

I am confused, is this not a national HHR club? Most of the topics are discussed on a “national” level. Members are free to do whatever they want on a regional level https://www.chevyhhr.net/regional.php
We don’t need the word “club” to be a club. We are a strong community and we can do anything that we want (meets, events, ect)
Also, we do not charge anyone to be a part of the “club” The Premium Membership is 100% optional and only there to cover the cost of running this site.
Well put and thanks for the props. I am always open for ideas and I will promote any smaller regional groups. Most important thing to do is get together and have fun!

Jonyyb...that is kinda' what I was wondering? I didn't want to step on anyones' toes with a desire to set up a run or runs and wanted to make sure that I wasn't. I'm a newer member and don't want to stir S&%t already...hahaha. Toms you are absolutely right and I am going to be at car shows and cruise-ins all summer long doing just that,
