First remove the upper panel covering the 3rd. brake light. Just pull on it and it will pop off easily. The lower panel is just attached with snaps. Just start at the top on one side and carefully pull up on the panel unsnapping them and continue working your way around till the panel is off. Use a plastic pry tool or screw driver for leverage near the snap connector if you have a problem unsnapping it.

At this point remove the rear beauty bar. It is held on by 4 10mm nuts. If I remember there is also a couple of electrical connectors for the lift gate latch and plate light to unhook also.

Thanks...I tried to remove that top joining piece yesterday with just my fingers and the clips didnt wanna budge, started discoloring the light gray plastic at the end clips....I will try a screwdriver to pry and give that a shot.
