Need source for the pre-cut 3M protective film rear quarter/rocker

No running boards on my HHR, starting to get some of the sandblasting... want to nip it in the bud. Need source for the clear protective 3M film that is pre-cut to fit our HHR's problem area back there.

I haven't heard of any pre-cut. I did find a seller on ebay that sold un-cut sheets that they sold by the foot. You could cut it your self.

I bought the precut front kit from there. Havent put it on yet, waiting for better weather. It took about a week and a half to receive it. Product looks ok, seems they have 2 different thicknesses. I will be ordering more of it for the rear bumper, perhaps the rear quarters and will cut it myself.

wow that precut HHR bumper kit was only 9.99 +15.99 s&h, for some reason I thought it was 3M at first then realized their full 3M kits are $169. Bit of a difference there :o I usually opt for 3M anything when presented the choice and when I want it to last. Might consider the full cheap kit (25+16sh) for the hood / bumper in the future... further chipping scares me but I don't really know how visible these films are.

I will be sure to post back with pics, but may not be for a couple weeks. Im sure the edges will be visible if you look closely, but the vinyl seems to have a gloss similar to the paint and transparency is decent. Cant be applied over wax though. and wax will build up on the edges if youre not careful.

I remember seeing rolls of the clear vinyl rocker panel tape available at local automotive parts stores all over town. I think it was under $20.00 for a roll and it was about 6 inches wide.
