Naaaah..my son is still playing with it!

I already have 3 door dings and a small scratch. "GunMetal Grey" is pretty durable though - you really have to look to find them!

Then that means I can join the club because of Hurricane Wilma. A tree branch hit the rear bumper.

Ok so here is the deal, I went to the dealership and they say NOTHING is wrong under the bumper! So just in case I took it to my cousins bodyshop, to see if he thought they could be buffed out. He says only a few of the scratches are deep and that most CAN be buffed out!!!! GOOD NEWS!!!

The guy hit us hard enough to bounce us off our seats, and that is all the damaged caused, so the HHR can take a hit! Now I feel SAFER riding in the HHR then ANY other ride it's size.

Where's the damage? The area above the chip deflector kinda looks like a bang in the door, but based on that angle its a bit hard to tell, can you post some other shots? If you have problems posting, email me at SIHHR@Aol.com and I can post for you.

I guess I can join. I didn't get hit but I did notice a dent in the lift gate at the end of the chrome trim. That makes me mad.

The same thing happened to me. Complain to your dealership because it is a design flaw. The dents at the edge appear by closing the rear hatch using the beauty bar. The dealership repaired mine free of charge. That is why I warn people to use the handle at the bottom of the hatch to close it rather than the bar.
