New GM Warranty

GM just announced that it has initiated a new warranty program for all of the 2007 vehicles. Warranty will be 100,000 miles or 5 years and will be extended to all the 2007's that already have been purchased.

Probably should help the quality image and increase sales.

Hopefully this is still within the topic of the thread. Has anybody researched buying a GM extended warranty after they purchased the vehicle? (as opposed to buying the extended warranty at time of vehicle purchase), I know it 'll cost more buying after the fact but I wonder what the price range might be.
