Welcome, from another noobie.
Yes it has enough room to fit a 42" lcd tv box and all. We actually used my hhr to pick one up instead of the F150 pickup because it was snowing out.
I was very impressed with the cargo room.

Welcome to the club!!!! Like you I also came from a larger vehicle as in Honda Ridgeline,but I must admit I'm throughly impressed by the room and ride as well!!!! Oh and the fuel consumption in this case the lack of it feels great driving a Chevy again"Feels Like Home"
