I thought I'd try something like a K&N filter to start if I can get to the old one.

Cool T-Shirt. I was surprised to find my manufactured date as 6/07. It's only Mid July. I guess my first mod was to push down the fuses( yup, they were loose ). As GM employee I say sorry about that.
