I have just joined this forum and am writing this while I wait for delivery of my first HHR. I must say that the dealership in Charlotte, NC had dozens of them a month ago and I had only two to select from on Saturday. Fortunately I found one that really popped my cork!!!
I hope you are wrong about the demise of this vehicle. It is very functional and does well on mileage according to my "Hands Off" research. I am only happy to be a part of a new group of car owners who are proud enough of their ride that they form clubs!!! Haven't done this since my Corvette Club back in the 60's. Yea I'm an old coot and proud of it.

who's talking about the demise of the HHR. A fuel efficient soft of cross over wagon, i think the idea is here to stay.

Welcome!

Size: 5.6 KB to the site!!! We won't know the fate of the HHR until 2011 when it is switched over to the new platform and when most of the retro cues are suppose to be lost.

Re: HHR Demise

My first post here after lurking for a bit.

I picked up my used '08 Silverstone LS last week after a few weeks of researching. I traded in an '03 Saturn Vue that had a vTi transmission. Actually, it had FOUR of them! After the fourth replacement and it going out of warranty, I felt it was time to dump it. One of the rentals I had during a transmission replacement was an HHR and I fell in lust with it. Started doing some comparison and research on it and things just clicked.

Anyways, I'm curious as to the OP's remark about "the demise of" this vehicle. Where did you read/hear about it's demise?
