Hi folks. I just traded in my 2004 Dodge Dakota for a loaded '08 Chevy HHR LT. I'm still missing my truck since I swore I'd never drive a car again, but 13 mpg was killing me. My friend is the GM of an auto group and he kept telling me to just test drive the HHR and he guaranteed that I would love it. After drive a few Chevy Colorado's (they really suck btw) I drove an HHR just to make Yogi happy. Damn if he wasn't right. I loved the HHR. I'm sure that I will get over Post Traumatic Depression as soon as I fill up after my first full tank of gas runs out. I have only had this thing for three days and I've already ordered a T-Rex upper and lower Billet Grille and a CGS intake system. I'll let you know how it turns out. Any advice is welcome.

Congrats, but why replace the factory Cold Air Intake with an after market Warm Air Intake?

I'm going to fab up some duct work from the lower grille to the filter and come up with some kind of a heat shield. I've got a guy I work with that might have well been in Fast and the Furious with all of the cars he tricks out. I hate those loud rice burners but he does do some good work.

My Ranger gets 18 mpg downhill with a tailwind. And a 70 mile daily commute. I kept it though, gotta have a truck, and it has no bluebook value to speak of.
