Hi. I just picked an '07 Imperial blue 2LT Panel with ebony interior. It's loaded with all the options, heated seats are great!.
I'm a panel nut going back 35 years. I like the clean looks of them. I've owned a '54, '64, and a rare '68 factory 4x4 panel (one of 35 made)
I had been waiting for the HHR panel to be available and when it showed up mid year I figured I'd wait for the year end sales.
I got lucky, there were only 2 '07s left in a 300 mile radius and one had the exact color and options I was looking for. It was at the closest dealer as well! The sticker was $25,354.00 and I got it for $23,450.00 ($450 over invoice) with 0% interest for 60 months. It probably wasn't the best price, but the 0% and finding the one I wanted makes up for it. I also had a trade-in that I got a fair price for.
I just got back from an 800 mile road trip down the pacific coast Hwy. from Seattle south and back and it was a real pleasure to drive, plenty of power and 28-31mpg. And contrary to popular belief, with a couple of stick-on convex mirrors there is no more blind spot.
Needless to say I'm a happy HHR owner. Great forum, thanks for having it. -JMStreet
