Hello all,
I just wanted to introduce myself, I am the proud owner of a black 07 LS, which I acquired slightly used in June. V8 powered American iron has always been my thing, Caprices, G-body Monte Carlos, Crown vics, Caddys and Lincolns, etc. The HHR is a completely different vehicle for me, but I am more pleased with it than I have been with any car for some time. I will post pics of my mini hearse (as some have called it!) soon. I am also a proud new dad!. My son, Nick, was born on 4/12/07.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!

I've had mine for over a year, and still love it a lot. Although I've never had a muscle car or a real powerhouse, I did have a Chrysler Laser Turbo for many years and I will say that I miss having that obediant "Kickinthebutt" acceleration and catlike maneuverability.

That being said, I'm pretty settled with my cooler attitude now. The odd thing is, I actually think I drive it differently. It's so quiet, I could be operating a tram! Do you think you will be driving yours like a hearse?? ... you could do a whole theme.

Welcome aboard! I made the switch from rear drive to Front drive on my HHR and I gotta say, best move I've made so far. Wasn't a FWD fan, but this car is great!

Gonna have to take care of that HHR for the kid to drive right?

You'll enjoy it.
