Just bought a 2008 HHR LT with about 77,000 miles on it. Wanted to know if anyone has heard of the Elegance LT Edition and was this a custom or limited edition? I've also heard of a Comfort LT. Apparently the HHR I have is an Elegance with certain upgrades similar to the 2LT like leather heated seats, backup sensors, dual vented sunroof, and something I didn't notice at first because it has dark two-tone seats was the word "Elegance" embroidered into the headrests. Can't find anything online about the model. Would like some insight.

"Elegance" and "Comfort" are NOT gm model designations. Somebody may have dressed it up and put the name in the upholstery.

HHR never had dual vented sunroof or backup sensor from the factory, must have been added by a customizer.

There is such a thing as "comfort ride" which is the very basic soft suspension that Rental Fleet cars had.

Somebody else asked a similar question a while back; it turned out to be a custom car shop added a few bells & whistles.

Thanks for the input! I figured it was some company mod that made extra money off the HHR. My HHR is maroon and the seats are two-tone black leather with maroon suede inserts. I've been looking at HHRs for over a year now and had never seen that combination before. Also when I looked at HHR parts/accessories on eBay, I noticed when asked what specific trim it showed "Comfort" LT and "Elegance" LT along with the other trims.
