New owner, no pics....yet
Good day everyone!
I just wanted to say "Hi" and say how wonderful and helpful this forum looks so I plan on hanging around a bit!
I especially like the rear sway bar talk, Looks like something I will need to look into when it warms up around here.
Oh yeah, almost forgot.
Last month I bought a 2008, Victory RED, HHR 2LT, sun roof, roof rails, etc..
Just had my free first oil change at the dealer and I really like this baby. I had a Dodge Dakota 4X4 club cab for 10 years and 160k, so this was big change but the cost of fuel made me look for something that had room for hauling and great fuel economy and once I saw the HHR on the street I knew I had to get me one!
I just love the electronic do-dads like the info. button on the streering wheel and the hands free phone. The sales man told me I could hook my cell phone up to the AUX port and use the mic in the car and radio speakers but Radio shack said no, I can only "play" mp3s that are on my phone. Like why would I want to do that?

Welcome. that aux jack is where you can plug in a MP3 player or even a cass deck,cd changer etc, it is spelled out in the owners manual (the 08)page 3-72. I also have an 08 2LT but Dark Gray Metallic. Salesmen are lucky to know what toilet paper is used for, I've yet to find one that really knows anything about the cars they sell. Enjoy the forum.

Thinking of installing a SWAY BAR? Do it! It makes a fabulous positive difference in handling. (SEE green bar in pic below.)
