New rims rubbing... Help!

New rims rubbing... Help!

Guys I just chaged my rims and in corners I'm getting a rubbing metal on metal sound.

Any ideas??

That size is fine as long as you kept the tire around the same size. I have 20's on mine with no issues. Take the tire off to see if the rim has any marks on it.

They are rubbing on the caliper.

To me it sounds as the rim has the wrong offset.

Time for some spacers. 843 gave me a tip to order them here they are on the way from Pa. and made in Germany, should be high quality. Considering what they do, not the spot to get cheep.

Like I said need info on size...how wide, what's the offset? 18's isn't enough to really help, but it does sound like it's either width or offset. Many, including me are running 18s with no issues. Tire size might be helpful too.

When I put caddie wheels on mine they rubbed the calipers. You need spacers. Dont get any more than 5mm, you can still use the stock studs and nuts.

Spacers is the ticket, sadly the ones I got at PeP Boys are to wide so no go.

I might just grab a few washers from home depot.

In the meantime, I've been driving it and they seem to be wearing in a bit.
