ACTUALLY, the G6 is a 4 seater, and I am SORRY that I am a PROUD AMERICAN who likes buying from AMERICAN companies...
we all have our own opinions though, and that is why there are so many car companies to choose from...
but you will never see me driving something from a Japanese manufacturer, guess I am a little weird like that...

I agree that I like the older sebrings look much better. Something about the overall look of the new model doesn't cut it for me. (On a side note, Proud American here as well only I buy vehicles according to a set of standards I go by and would never overlook one vehicle over another just because of its company's origin.)

Jeremy....

Brand loyality and being a proud American does have its merits. But, the way "things" are changing in this world, you are probably young enough to see ALL foreign built vehicles in the future....so, I wouldn't say NEVER (and remember I AM A GM GUY).

The drop top is cool, but no doubt compromises the cargo/passenger room.

Might be a fun summer test drive......
Boy this thread sure got off subject fast!

Good one hhr magesty!
I like them there SSRs. A local dealer had a teal one that took my breath away. I wish I could have added it to the stable.
My wife wants me to get rid f all the old cars and be happy with the HHR. I am happy with the HHR, but there is something real special about owning and maintaining a classic. I can also understand leaving the world of constant weekend maintainance!

If I get out of the Corvairs, I'd get a '61 Buick Invicta or another 62 Skylark.

Cool by me, I just wanted to talk cars since we all have s pecial attraction to them and this is ourprefferred HHR site. Good for some off HHR talk now and agin.

But back onto Sebrings, A Floridian told me they have the most Sebring convertibles in their state. I guess they are everywhere. I first saw them there the month they came out, so perhps that person is onto something.

It's cool! Buy American. I do and have not yet owned a foreign' vehicle. But since so much is being cross manufactured and cross assembled, I don't know exactly WHAT an American car is morphing into. I mean Toyota builds in the US and employs Americans, but I guess the profits go back to Japan? Dunno. Our HHRs are built in Mexico..........

I still like looking at all cars and don't wear blinders because things are not as straightforward as they once were. Heck I guess I did own a foreign car when I bought the Pontiac Vibe???, Where do we draw the line??
I have owned BUICKS, OLDS'S, CADDIES, FORDS, CHRYSLERS, BUT NEVER AN AMC

Anyway, I do like the lines of some o' dem ferin' jobbas!
I've yet to see a Jaguar whose lines I did not like. Now their engines and electrical are another story.
