Hello everyone. My girlfriend and I recently purchased an 06 HHR. It was very nice to find this forum full of knowledgeable owners. I started finding answers to my questions immediately, and I hope to contribute some knowledge of my own once I start to work on my car.

Since everyone seems to feed on options, mods and pics, I'll talk a little about what I have (sorry - no pics yet). It's a 2006 LT1 with the standard gray cloth interior. No fog lights or sunroof, although the foglights will hopefully be installed soon. I have already put some 6 1/2 Sony 4 way speakers in the doors (thanks to info that I found here) and I ditched the stock door locks for the smoothies. I'm actually employed by Sony so you'll see the brand alot in my installs and mods. I have some plans to fabricate a custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosure to go into the factory location, and I'll post some pics and maybe even a How To.

I've already had the pleasure of meeting Mike from So Cal HHRs in person, and I can only hope that everyone here is as friendly as him, and I look forward to being a member of this community.
