Newbie HHR owner

Hello to all. I am a newbie to HHR's and just picked up an 08 LS from my local credit union. Really cool car! I have been browsing this forum and noticed that some of you got remote start with yours. My LS came with an automatic transmission but I don't have a button on the key fob for the auto start. Are all automatics supposed to have the auto start feature? If so, would I just need a different key fob? Any info would be a big help before I call the dealership. Thanks

Welcome!

The remote start is available only on the automatic, but it is not standard with all automatics.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at my Carfax report and see that mine was a rental car from Ohio. That would explain why I don't have the remote start or the Onstar buttons. I think I still got a pretty good deal though. I paid $15000 for an 08 LS with 12k miles. It is black without a scratch on it. The interior is spotless also, not your typical rental! What do you guys think?
