DreamHHR, I got the Fall Edition (blackened chrome on black). Also, if you aren't seeing any blizzards in Quebec I think you may be confused :P

Deb, I'm actually picking it up in Toronto in a couple of weeks when I go and visit the folks, since I have to return my Saturn to there that weekend anyways.

Everyone else, thanks for the warm welcome :)

No, it's that my definition of a blizzard somewhat differs from what most people call it around Ottawa. I learned to drive down east, where roads get closed for 2 or 3 days regularly during winter.

My storm'O'meter:

Snowfall = Hey, this is nice, I'd better watch it just in case it's slippery.
Snowstorm = D*mn, traffic jams again, I guess I'll have to slow down.
Blizzard = Holy S**t, I'm stopping and leaving my car here, because I have no clue of where I am. Besides, everything is closed, so there's nowhere to go to.

Enjoy your HHR when it gets here, it should be great in the snow with decent winter tires.

Since it has the 17" rims and the Firehawks on it, you'll likely need to get some snow tires for it.

We picked up ours last October and drove it through the winter on the all seasons (16" rims with Affinity's). It was OK but not great. We are buying snow sneakers for it this year.

I think you and I share a Storm O' Meter, friend. I love driving in the snow :)

And for the record, I was in Toronto when they had to call out the army to plow the city
