Just joined your site, had my black 07 HHR since Labor Day, 2006. No problems with it, enjoy reading forums and getting very helpful tips. Your posts persuaded me to order my running boards, I will get them after the Holidays. No paint chipping found. I don't feel so alone about being out there washing and polishing when weather permits here in the Midwest (Elgin, IL).
Wife and kids think I lost it being in the garage so much, HHR brings me back to earlier times, when me and my friends would spend Sundays washing and polishing our black cars in the mid-70s. I always was a GM guy, always Chevrolet, waited and watched the PT Cruisers go by. Rented a PT on vacation, and was not impressed with it. I paid off my 02 Cavalier and gave that to my wife and got my HHR in the fall. First one I looked at and had all the things I needed, except the running boards. Made a good deal, dealer was fair and so was the price. Good Luck to all, and hope to see other HHR's on the road. I feel this would be a more popular vehicle if GM would advertise it, I feel that the HHR may be in limited production and the demand would outweigh the supply if GM pushed the HHR more.

Welcome ENLLRON, You are not alone out here, I washed the Cruck off yesterday, before going out X-Mas shopping. I love to show the" Beautiful One" off.
Don`t park by the masses, That`s part of the trick...
Check-out the Mid-Central region, There`s always something going on, it`s the Top (can I say that?) region on the site. I`m speaking of Runs and such...
Anyway, Welcome on-board. B/B
PS. Check those fuses...

Running Boards & Factory contoured mud flaps will help protect your HHR from chips & keep durt off.

Welcome to the site.

And Like BB said, check your fuses, they tend to be loose on the HHR.

And be sure to check out the Mid_Central region threads. There are two things being planned for January and also check out the Shindig in Shell Knob, a big event this summer at Table Rock Lake near Branson.

New 2007 Owner

My name is Alan and just signed up for this forum.
On December 28 2006 I became the proud owner of a 2007 HHR Fall Edition
with the sun roof. So far I really like the car. Had a 2001 S10 that I traded in
for it. This is my 14th new chevy since 1964.
Living in Florida this car will be a pleasure to have and drive.

Alan
