Nissan Cube Likely for USA
For the sake of saving gas, especially in this day and age, and I doubt we'll see gas prices go down, I could see buying an ugly car, but this car would not be the one.
Our daughter went out and bought herself an Element a couple years ago, and loves it. I have to say that you can really haul stuff in that car, it's amazing how much she can get in it. Hubby calls it the Elegant. She gets 26 mpg on the highway, which I reckon isn't too bad, though not nearly as good as our HHR.
Personally we can't see how that boxy car can get good mileage, and there's NO space for camping gear, and in this family, if a vehicle can't haul camping gear, it's not joining our family.

I hate to admit it we looked at the Scion XB and Element. We were going to get one of them just couldn't get the deal we wanted. Found the HHR on the web and bought it after the test ride. Wife didn't even see it or drive it. She loves it every time we pass an Element or Scion she says "thank god you got this".
Now I know what to do with my old refrigerator! Put a motor and some wheels on it, and be right in style!Thread
