Just another way to get your hard earned money....if it was that great it would have been on the market years ago....

 

Anyone experienced problems with TPMS, while using nitrogen?

Just wondering.

think about this, you are putting 100% nitrogen in your tires, yes it reacts less to temp and "stays" inflated longer, but normal air is already 70% nitrogen. unless you are in a race car speeding around Talladega it wont make a difference at all. if they are giving it to you for free go for it. just never waste your money on it, its snake oil. thats my

 

I was talking to my friend who does HVAC
he said a tank of nitrogen is about $7 and i hear the dealer charges about $50 for a fill.

When i brought my SS in for the pressure loss during the cold weather. the service manager said the nitrogen molecules are just larger making it less resistant to seep out.

However, the problem was a loose valve stem, once repaired I havent lost any tire pressure.

So my thoughts are that the nitrogen fill is not necessary
