Well, there is hope. The Volt is loosely based on the delta II platform isn't it? So maybe we'll see an HHR replacement using this basic body.

Volt is built on the Delta II and shares much with the Cruze.

Don't expect a HHR.

There is still room for a vehicle like an HHR underneath the Equinox. Look at the body of the Volt MPV5 in the link and tell me they can't make something to replace the HHR out of that.

If I had the guess, they'll use something like an Aveo hatchback (which may be bigger than the current Aveo) as a replacement. I mean, Chevrolet has to have a small 5 door to compete with the Yaris, Fit, and all that...

I don't know what everyone else thinks, but I think the Chevy Volt looks really bizarre. It's just strange; it sort of looks like a robot car or spaceship or something. I don't think I'd really want one to be honest. What do you think?

Oh great just what we need people that can't drive now flying over my house on a I Pod 12G.

The truth is if the goverment has their way you will either be in a car like a TATA Nano or on a bus.
