No More Borrowing/Renting Trucks

After a lifetime of owning (and actually using) pickup trucks, I traded in my Silverado for the HHR SS. Right decision for a lot of reasons, but I was still stuck with borrowing or renting a truck once or twice a month. Finally found EXACTLY what I was looking for (and only 46000 genuine miles to boot). A 2000 C/K 2500 4X4 regular cab 454 for $5500. Yay!

Yeah! Congratulations!

I couldn't part with my *trusty* '99 S10 and insisted I was not going to trade it in/sell it when I bought Blackie.
Indy (who is Indigo blue) has been a great workhorse and I like knowing when needed, he's there!

Still have my 94 S-10 4x4 Ext Cab for the needed jobs around the yard like snow plowing, pulling the boat out of the water and runs to the lumber yard. But if a occasional load of 8' 2x4's are needed on the way home, they fit into the HHR.

I still have my 98 One ton Four Door Daully

I still have my 98 One Ton Four Door Daully Chevy. Best vehicle I have ever had. My prevoius truck was a 95??? 3/4 ton Suburban and it was not near as good as my daully. Both had 454 but the 98 has the Vortec and it runs much better and gets much better mileage than the old one did. Got 187,000 miles on it now with no major problems.
I love my little HHR as it costs about 25% of what it costs me to drive my big truck but for big jobs that is a good one.
